What is Hypnosis for Anxiety?
Anxiety is your body’s natural response to stress. It's a normal and often healthy emotion. However, when you feel anxiety recurring every day, you may need help to reduce it and hypnosis is an excellent vehicle to reduce those feelings and get relief.
Know that you're not alone as anxiety affects 40 million Americans each year. It’s the most common mental illness in the U.S.
Definition of Anxiety
Definitions of anxiety are all over the place but some anxiety disorders include fears, phobias, PTSD, panic attacks, OCD, social anxiety, constant worry and separation anxiety. Some anxiety symptoms include panic, fear, IBS, migraines and insomnia. Whenever you don’t feel right in a given situation, you may have anxiety.
Hypnosis for Anxiety
Hypnosis for anxiety can be very helpful by relaxing your mind helping you to let go of fear, worry and stress. Many times, anxiety can be traced to a traumatic event at some point in your life. In other instances, anxiety can build over many years as the feeling of being in control fades away. Using hypnosis, we use the healing power of your mind to make changes in the way your subconscious mind processes events that cause anxiety.
When caused by a traumatic occurrence, the event creates an emotion that is triggered by certain actions in your current life. Hypnosis can explore repressed memories and traumatic experiences and then deal with the negative emotions created by the event that continues to surface in the present.
Once those emotions get released, hypnosis will relax and calm the mind and install a desire for healthy thoughts and habits. You will feel like a new person and ready to accomplish the goals you have set in your life.

Hypnotherapy Success Stories ...
Hypnosis to Reframe
Although I was exposed to hypnosis early in life, I was hesitant to try hypnosis as an adult. After hearing about some recent exciting research on hypnosis (on the Andrew Huberman podcast), I researched local hypnotists and found Tom. When I initially spoke to Tom, I was impressed by his pleasant yet practical demeanor. After our first session, I was convinced he could help me. I initially visited him for sleep problems, though I think limiting my experience with Tom to mere symptom relief would be misleading. I believe Tom's hypnotism can undoubtedly provide symptom relief, yet more important is the psychological benefits. My sessions with Tom helped me to reframe my narrative about my "issues" in a way that inspired a durable change in my mindset, mood, and health. If you are hesitant to try hypnotism, I suggest you look at the hypnotism research coming out of Stanford University. Listen to Andrew Huberman. And then, call Tom. What do you have to lose?
I finally have clarity!
I finally have clarity! I can think and make decisions more clearly. My self confidence and self love are improving. It’s funny, it's like I have these epiphanies to problems or issues that I would normally dwell on but instead I problem solve them myself and move on.
It’s like my brain is finally wired correctly. I stopped feeling sorry for myself. I no longer view my childhood as a negative thing that happened to me but rather something I went through to make me the strong person and mother I am today.
I can talk to people more easily. I feel like my old self (before I had kids) where I stand up for myself and what I want without guilt. If I do start having negative thoughts, I redirect very easily, it’s like this little voice saying “how is that going to serve you?”
I have greatly noticed this calm about me. I used to hold on to emotions and physically feel them throughout my body. I don’t let things bother me the way they used to. I don’t overreact or let other people’s negativity effect me.
I am definitely feeling the love and positivity and trying to exude it onto others. I now give out compliments likes it’s my job. I see so many improvements in myself and am super happy about that! I feel so grateful, relieved and lighter.
I would definitely recommend hypnotherapy to anyone wanting a change for the better in their lives.
I spent almost 30 years excessively biting my nails
First of all I want to thank Tom for making the whole experience fun and enjoyable. I spent almost 30 years excessively biting my nails to the point where there was nothing left. I have always wanted to stop but could never bring myself to do so. I finally took the leap and decided to try hypnotherapy. I will be honest, I was a little nervous and as usual I am over analytical and anxious about everything. After the first session I bit my nails and texted Tom and he said don't worry, you're fine. As the days went on, I noticed that I would look at them but not have the urge to bite or pick. I went back a week later for my second session and I can safely say since my first I have not bitten or picked, which is something I would never have thought I could achieve. All in all the experience was worth it and Tom has changed my life in 2 sessions. I will be back again for sure but not for biting my nails!
