I rarely (never) write reviews but I had such a great experience with Tom that I want to share this with other individuals who are looking for help in addressing “challenges” they are experiencing. I had been struggling with an issue for decades that had progressively become more intrusive and attempts at remediating this were unsuccessful.
Looking for other options, I investigated hypnotherapy and Tom’s reviews were very favorable and I contacted him to schedule an evaluation. Tom responded very promptly, and his intake questionnaire was very appropriate, direct, and thorough. Additionally, as my initial appointment approached, I received gentle reminders which I found extremely helpful (given my schedule). Tom also prepared me for our first visit by ensuring that I watched his video which explained the basis of hypnotherapy, how it works, and what to expect.
At the first appointment, Tom and I spent a great deal of time just talking which allowed him to get to know a little about me and my objectives. What immediately impressed me about Tom was his attentive, yet casual, demeanor which was very disarming and made me feel at ease. As we began the hypnotherapy portion of the appointment, Tom explained what to anticipate and how best to relax my body and mind to be receptive to the session. Throughout the hypnotherapy, I was fully awake and alert --- yet completely relaxed --- and when the session was over, this intensely pleasant and relaxing sensation lasted for several hours afterward. Better yet, without me consciously being aware of it, my subconscious mind responded to the session and the “issue” we were focusing on improved immediately.
The additional two sessions were extremely beneficial and self-reinforcing and at the conclusion of the third visit, I felt so much better and was relieved to be on a much better --- favorably altered --- trajectory.
Tom is a very kind and gifted hypnotherapist, and I would encourage anyone to set aside any preconceived misconceptions about hypnotherapy and give this a try. It can be life-changing for you!
My Experience with Hypnosis Was Amazing
Hello my experience with hypnosis was amazing,, I went in to see Tom for anxiety and depression due to past trauma,, and felt incredibly comfortable and relaxed my whole entire time I was there,, I now am feeling very relaxed and less stressed then when I first started my therapy,, I highly recommend it to anyone that deals with issues and can’t get a handle on them,, I am definitely gonna go back and do some more work,, Sincerely Heidi
Sessions on Zoom
Hypnosis sessions are very effective on Zoom. All you need is a computer with a web cam and microphone. It works best with headphones or earbuds, if you have them. We have the same success on Zoom as with office sessions. Once you close your eyes, it's like being in my office.
